If you shop on Bloor St., use Dundas West subway station, use the Bloor GO station, or even just walk, cycle, or drive through the area, you may be interested in attending this session. Details below.

Public Meeting

VISIONING SESSION #2
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5, 2008 6:30 PM
LITHUANIAN HOUSE
1573 BLOOR STREET WEST

The area of Bloor Street West between Keele Street and Dundas Street West is an area in transition. Both major streets are designated as 'Avenues' in the new City of Toronto Official Plan. 'Avenues' are designated as important corridors where some redevelopment is anticipated and encouraged in order to accommodate growth.

The City's Planning Division is initiating these sessions in order to assist in developing a collective vision that will guide and shape future planning and development for this stretch of Bloor Street West.

The second session will build upon the first meeting which was held on January 16, 2008 and allow City Staff to report back to the Community with preliminary findings.

This is your opportunity to contribute to the long-term vision of the Bloor Street West / Dundas Street West area. Your input and feedback will help the city formulate new ways to enhance the evolving character of the area and its contribution to the City of Toronto.

If you cannot attend the meeting, you can still make your views known by sending a fax or by writing to Gary Wright, Director, Community Planning, Toronto and East York District, City Planning Division, 100 Queen Street West, Floor 18 E, Toronto, Ontario, M5H 2N2.
