A last chance for neighbourhood children and their parents to enjoy Perth Square Park before a new school year begins. This informal gathering is organized by the Junction Triangle Rail Committee. Come on out, chat with the neighbours and catch up on all the summer news while the kids enjoy the swings and splash pad.
Active 18, a community group based in the southern end of Ward 18, are planning another All Candidates meeting.

The Stop Community Food Centre's Good Food for All Festival is back and bigger than ever! Join us on September 18 for a fun-filled—and entirely free!— day of entertainment, kids' activities, music and, of course, lots and lots of delicious food. Hosted by broadcaster and author Jane Farrow, the day features the Food Network's Food Jammers and their crazy culinary contraptions; music by Nine Mile and Samba Squad; a community cook-off (you be the judge); a farmers' market; samples from The Stop kitchen; a bike-repair clinic; a swap shop and much more. Kids will enjoy Whimz live animals, food-themed activities and crafts (cookie rewards for completing them all) and, of course, the ever-popular bouncy castle. Join us for what is always a wonderful day celebrating our neighbourhood and healthy and delicious food.

Dale Goldhawk will be hosting a Ward 18 council debate on Wednesday September 29th, 8-9PM. You can tune in to Rogers TV live, or you can maybe watch it online too.
It appears that Rogers TV is posting all of their election debates online, so you can watch it later even if you don't catch it live.
