There is a gorgeous gallery in an unlikely new location - Ernest Ave. across from Solways and behind Ontario Hardwood! I was in there yesterday and they have done a fantastic job. It's called Arsenal Galerie, based in Montreal, this is their new Toronto location. Open Fridays and Saturdays, hosted by very friendly people. This space rivals the Power Plant and MOCCA and is a stellar addition to the Junction Triangle. Oh yeah, the work on the walls is excellent too!

This place is great - nice addition to the neighbourhood
I've taken my kids to this a few times since it opened earlier last year - what a unique space - and a big sense of space. We're really fortunate to have something like this in our community - regardless of your feelings toward art, or their style of art carried there. I'd like to learn more how that space could be further used for events - integrating art and a great space more into the JT. Bravo!

BlogTO posted a profile of Arsenal today: http://www.blogto.com/gallery/arsenal-toronto#
Wow - really looking forward to this
If this place is only a quarter of what the Power Plant, it will be great. As a community resident, I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever is there. Can ride my bike down he railpath to it! Great!
Wonderful Addition
This is such a wonderful addition to our 'hood. I can't wait to check out the shows and the space! Thanks for the tip.
