Cat lost at Wallace/Perth - "Buggy" - reward offered

Hello all,

Our cat has been missing from our backyard at 327 Wallace Ave since Friday evening (31 July), and we'd like to enlist the community for help in locating him. He's an indoor cat and is pretty clueless about life in the outdoors, so we think it's likely that he is hiding under a deck, porch, or in a garden shed. Also, because of the time of his disappearance, we suspect that he may have wandered into someone's garage and been trapped in there over the long weekend--if you're returning home from a weekend out of town and find a cat in your garage who answers to the following description, please contact us!

Buggy is a white (all over: he has no coloured markings), medium-sized, neutered male cat with green-brown eyes. He has two notches on the tip of his right ear. He is an indoor cat, but he has not been declawed. He doesn't have a collar. Because he is not used to being outside, he may be a little nervous if you approach him, but he is generally very sweet, trusting, and friendly. We miss him so much already and are offering a reward of $50 for his return.

If you think you have seen Buggy around our neighbourhood, please call Alex at 416.571.1859. Any time of the day or night is fine. We'd be so grateful to hear from you.

Thank you,
Alex and Flora

Found!!

We found him this morning in the basement of one of the Brownstones on Wallace, petrified in a corner. Many thanks to the neighbourhood for your help and support and to the construction workers who helped in our search this weekend!

Great news

My daughter and I saw your signs yesterday and we were discussing where your cat might be as we were looking at the so-called Brownstones. We are very relieved to hear you have found the little Buggy!

Also, put up Signs.

My cat wandered away too. Put signs up everywhere in a 1 km circle around your house. My cat was found a few streets over, and I wouldn't have been contacted without the signage.

Suggestion -

Place some of his litter around your house and he should eventually find home. Also, cats are sensitive to the voices of their owners, so spend some time outdoors chatting. Good luck. It is not uncommon for cats to wander away for a couple of days (my cats were once indoor cats also).
