2014 Municipal Election

The next Toronto municipal election is on Monday October 27, 2014.

Let's use this forum to discuss any issues, especially local ones, that might come up in the election. Try to stick to municipal politics, specific to the Junction Triangle and overall Ward 18 areas, though mayoral politics and the effect on us locally is certainly valid.

Here's the final list of Ward 18 candidates, as of September 12 2014. Links go to official campaign websites, Twitter feeds, Facebook pages, etc. Please leave any updated links in the comments below.

The official up-to-date list is maintained on the City's website:
http://app.toronto.ca/vote/campaign.do

Some additional info links:

  • Position Primer - Probably the most comprehensive summary of candidates' positions/policies, as put together by Women in Toronto Politics
  • Choice Storm website has been maintaining a good list of candidate info too.
