DIGIN
Library Workshop

Wednesday 15 February 2012 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Wallace Emerson Community Centre’s Abrigo Room, 1260 Dufferin just south of Dupont

Change is coming to the Perth/Dupont Branch of the Toronto Public Library at 1589 Dupont Street. One million dollars has already been earmarked for a major renovation and expansion and efforts are underway to raise additional funds.

A public consultation process called the 100 Day Survey* continues until the end of February.

As part of the consultation process, a series of workshops is being organized with interested members of the community to develop ideas about features and services local residents would like to see in a bigger library. The Wed 15 Feb special DIGIN meeting is one of those opportunities.

This is a rare opportunity for us to help shape the future of library services in our neighbourhood.

A summary report of the workshops and the ideas that emerge will be included in a Community Report to be submitted to the Library Board.

This special DIGIN event is happening the day after Valentine’s, so we'll be sharing the love [of libraries]! Library managers will attend to answer questions and keep the discussion really focussed.

We hope you can join us - we really want your wonderful ideas and comments.
