cafe stella

Wandered to the edge of the JT for dinner out last night, to a place called Cafe Stella at the corner of St Clarens and Bloor. It used to look very dodgy but has changed over the last year or so. We've been curious, so wanted to try it, and it turned out to be a great pick. It's a small place with very minimal decor, lots of neat old portable record players and simple wooden chairs and tables. The menu is just curry, and what delicious curry it is. J had beef curry and I had fish, and we kept dipping into each other's because both were so incredibly yummy. The place wasn't busy but it should have been packed. Four thumbs way up for this spot with its friendly service, good prices, and fantastic food. We'll be back for sure, and you should go too!
