I recently added a new feature to this website: The News Aggregator. You should see this listed in the menu on the left side of the screen.

The News Aggregator collects recent posts from several other local websites and puts them all together in one place. If you're looking for news about other neighbourhoods all around us, this would be a great place to start.

I also wanted to highlight a few other excellent local news sites and community groups. These are all listed on the Local Links page, along with various others:

• Junctioneer: Based in The Junction, but with news from various parts of West Toronto. A great online resource!
• Carleton Village Residents Association: New website for the neighbourhood to the north of us.
• Mulock Avenue Residents Association: Another new website for residents in the Mulock Ave. / Cawthra Ave. / Hirons St. area of The Junction.
• West Toronto Railpath: Our newest local park and trail, with a new website that should be updated more often than the old one.
• Junction Parents: A very active blog about focused on parenting nearby in The Junction
• Michael's Bloor-Lansdowne Blog: One person's accounts of living in the Bloor-Lansdowne area, often with useful news and announcements

Note: The News Aggregator only collects news from other websites that share their content using RSS news feeds. Websites that don't offer this functionality cannot be added.

If you have any other suggestions for websites that should be in our Local Links listing, or added to the News Aggregator, please get in touch. For now we'll stick to community groups and other non-commercial/personal websites. We hope to have business listings and other features here soon.
