Police searching for sexual assault suspect (Bloor/Lansdowne)

On Friday, February 15, 2013, at approximately 5 p.m, a man sexually assaulted a nine year old girl in a store near Bloor and Lansdowne. The following Toronto Police Press Release provides the details and security camera images of the suspect (download here).

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault.

It has been reported that:
on Friday, February 15, 2013, at approximately 5 p.m., a nine−year−old girl was with her mother in a retail store in

  • the Lansdowne Avenue/Bloor Street West area
  • a man approached from behind and sexually assaulted the girl
  • he left in an easterly direction

The man is described as having a light−brown complexion, 20−25, 5'7"−5'9", medium build and short, dark hair. He was wearing a grey/black, striped, hooded sweatshirt, jeans with faded areas on the front and the back, dark shoes and a black jacket.
