Piano Lessons - Windup Music

Hello!

I’m a piano teacher and recently moved to the neighbourhood.

I've developed a unique program that explores music making through improvisation and composition, allowing for students' own interpretation and creativity to be a strong part in their learning process. I want to inspire children of any age to learn music, even starting at ages 3 or 4.

I teach out of my home studio located at Symington and Bloor. Here is a link to my website for more information:

Art Spin Exhibition in former Tower Automotive, Sterling Rd.

Event info from the Art Spin website:

The Fourth Annual Art Spin Exhibition

158 Sterling Rd. (West of Lansdowne, North of Dundas)

Opening Reception Thursday August 29th , 7pm - 1am

Exhibition runs August 30th - September 1st
Hours are 12-7pm Friday and Saturday, 12-5pm Sunday

Built in 1920, the Tower Automotive building had an industrious history in aluminum, sheet-casting and automotive parts. In 2005 it was designated a heritage site and then shortly thereafter, closed. For years the ten story historic structure sat abandoned, occasionally accessed by trespassing graffiti artists, photographers and urban explorers alike.

The Fourth Annual Art Spin Exhibition takes its cue from the building it occupies, featuring works that explore its industrial heritage and history of neglect and decay while highlighting the disappearance of Toronto’s industrial past.

This group exhibition curated by Layne Hinton and Rui Pimenta of Art Spin features works in various mediums including site-specific installation, sculpture, painting, photography, new media, and performance art.

Let the men behind Toronto based vintage clothing company The Eye Of Faith take you on a "Rebel Without A Cause via Psychic Witch Ritual" fashion journey with their style procession that will kick off the show with a bang.
