I don't think I've ever seen this many events happening all on the same day in the Junction Triangle. Bikes, bees, butterflies, beauty, bartering, and boxcars*. Here's a quick rundown. Click the links to get more info about each event.
100 in 1 Day Festival:
Three events that are part of the 100 in 1 Day Festival are taking place in the Junction Triangle, along the West Toronto Railpath. All of them help celebrate the awesomeness of our neighbourhood and surrounding areas:
Kids and Cargo Bikes, 10am-11am at Perth Square Park, followed by a family ride on the Railpath. Come and show off your own cargo bike, or see what other people have. Some vendors are also coming.
Really Really Free Market, 10am-4pm at Campbell Park. Drop off items to give away for free, or pick up your own free stuff or services. Also, free food. Free. Really. Really.
This is a Toronto Bike Month activity happening at Perth Park and the West Toronto Railpath. Details are from the Bike Month event listing:

The Fourth Annual Art Spin Exhibition
158 Sterling Rd. (West of Lansdowne, North of Dundas)
Opening Reception Thursday August 29th , 7pm - 1am
Exhibition runs August 30th - September 1st
Hours are 12-7pm Friday and Saturday, 12-5pm SundayBuilt in 1920, the Tower Automotive building had an industrious history in aluminum, sheet-casting and automotive parts. In 2005 it was designated a heritage site and then shortly thereafter, closed. For years the ten story historic structure sat abandoned, occasionally accessed by trespassing graffiti artists, photographers and urban explorers alike.
The Fourth Annual Art Spin Exhibition takes its cue from the building it occupies, featuring works that explore its industrial heritage and history of neglect and decay while highlighting the disappearance of Toronto’s industrial past.
This group exhibition curated by Layne Hinton and Rui Pimenta of Art Spin features works in various mediums including site-specific installation, sculpture, painting, photography, new media, and performance art.
Text from Peter Low, a Bells on Bloor volunteer:
Hello Junction Triangle Residents,
Our 7th annual Bells on Bloor family bicycle parade will be held on Saturday May 11, beginning shortly after 12:00noon from the front gates of High Park (at High Park Ave and Bloor St West). We will be traveling east on Bloor St to St George, where we will turn right to travel southbound to Hoskins, turning left on Hoskins to go east to Queen's Park Crescent, then turning right to go southbound to the tip of Queen's Park, where we will dismount from our bikes and walk north on the sidewalk to finish at the front of the Ontario Legislature Building. For this year, the route has been slightly changed to avoid conflict with the Freedom Festival, that will be gathering at the intersection of Bloor Street and Queen's Park Crescent.
As in years past, the family bike ride will be accompanied by around 16 members of the Toronto Police Bike Unit (arranged with 11 Division) and 4 members of St John's Ambulance Bike Unit.

Starting up the Ward 18 group again!
Hello Ward 18 cyclists (and anyone interested in Ward 18 cycling)!
There's a lot going on in the ward and a lot of opportunity and need for cyclists to have a say. If you're interested in becoming involved with advocacy and outreach efforts within the ward, please come out to an introductory meeting next Wednesday.
We'll discuss bike lanes, bike parking, BIXI, and some bike events coming up throughout next year. We're also looking to name one or two people to take on the "Ward Captain" leadership position from Bruce Ward, who has moved to Ward 14.
WHAT: Introductory meeting for Ward 18 cyclists
WHEN: Wednesday, November 28 at 6:00pm
WHERE: Arte Gelato (946 Bloor St W) -- technically a block outside Ward 18, but we couldn't resist the gelatoRSVP to siva.v@cycleto.ca so that we have an idea of numbers.

Railpath connection to Perth/Sterling, under construction: May 20, 2012
If you've been down the West Toronto Railpath, south of Bloor St., in the last couple of weeks, you may have noticed something new: A connection from Perth Ave. and Sterling Rd. to the Railpath is currently under construction. In the photo above, taken May 20th, it's just a gravel path, but since this past weekend it was freshly paved.
