The notice below arrived in my mailbox on March 16th. This visioning study is for an area just outside of our Residents Association, Bloor St. between Dundas W. and Keele, but its impact may affect most of us.

If you shop on Bloor St., use Dundas West subway station, use the Bloor GO station, or even just walk, cycle, or drive through the area, you may be interested in attending this session. Details below.

The area of Bloor Street West between Keele Street and Dundas Street West is an area in transition. Both major streets are designated as 'Avenues' in the new City of Toronto Official Plan. 'Avenues' are important corridors where some redevelopment is anticipated and encouraged in order to accommodate growth.

The City's Planning Division has initiated three sessions to assist in developing a collective vision to guide and shape future planning and development for this stretch of Bloor Street West.

This third and final session will build upon the previous sessions held on January 16, 2008 and March 5, 2008. At this session, City Staff will present draft recommendations to the community. Your input and feedback will help the City formulate principles to guide the evolving character of the area.
