Professional Couple seeking 1+ bedroom unfurnished, September 1

Hello Junction residents! My husband and I are looking for an unfurnished apartment in the Junction, starting Sept. 1 (or August 27, if available then).

My husband is starting as a professor at York University, and I'm a writer/producer and higher education administrator. We are both non-smokers and have no pets. We can provide first and last months’ rent, and a security deposit (if required), and we would like to sign a year-long lease.

We are relocating from Los Angeles, and we’re looking forward to getting to know our new city and country. We visited the Junction on our last trip, and we knew that it was where we wanted to live.

We can provide an offer letter from York University and references from previous landlords, as well as from local colleagues. A friend who already lives in the neighborhood would be our proxy to meet our prospective landlords, since we’ll be arriving in Toronto on August 27.

Our apartment wish list includes:
- Laundry in apartment
- Central air/heating
- Private entrance
- Dishwasher
- Convenient parking (one space or street)
- Utilities included
- Close to TTC
- Bedroom can accommodate king size (76" wide x 80" long) mattress set

Due to personal schedules (he’s a night owl, she’s an early riser), it is important to us to have the bedroom separated from the rest of the living space by a door for light/noise.

Please message me if you have or know of a rental in the Junction!

Thanks,
Justine

*The same style of town homes were built in the Junction Triangle on Wallace Ave and I believe have the street address of Elsie Lane.

I know this may sound silly

I know this may sound silly but did you mean Junction Triangle or the Junction which are two different areas?
Also, although it's a little north of the Junction Triangle there are I'm certain a number of rental units of newly built town homes in Davenport Village. You could do a general search for rentals by focusing on properties on Foundry Ave or Turntable Cres. Or the Foundry Lofts on Lansdowne. Just a thought.
